The terrific leadership and generous qualities of 15 Gawler Primary School students has been rewarded.

Each student earned Kiwanis Barossa Valley's Terrific Kids Awards, which are aimed to encourage students to become role models through their good behaviour.

Member for Light, Tony Piccolo MP, who sponsors the awards, praised the students for their achievements and said the awards help highlight exceptional qualities and outstanding contributions within our school community.

“It's inspiring to see young individuals making such a positive impact in our region," Mr Piccolo said.

"Their dedication and hard work are commendable, and I have no doubt that they will continue to achieve great things.

“These awards are important to instilling into our youth early that they can make an impact in their communities not just academically, but by also going above and beyond in their personal lives to help others.

During the award ceremony, students were presented with certificates and books, acknowledging their efforts.
