As your local State Parliamentary representative I am very keen to provide you with the best services possible.

‍Community Directory
My office has produced a “Community Directory” to assist people in easily accessing the contact details of various government, commercial, and emergency services, as well as various Ombudsman offices, which may assist them. This booklet also provides valuable contact information for local community groups that are not easily accessible anywhere else.

‍Service Clubs Directory
My Service Clubs Directory promotes the work undertaken by service clubs in the Light electorate and hopefully encourages people to join and participate in one of the many clubs in the local area. As an additional welcome, I am pleased to include a number of vouchers from local businesses offering discounts on their services.

‍Local Business Guide
When people move into a new area, they are looking for businesses to provide them with a range of products and services. This guide is designed to help people like you who are new to the area to learn about what products and services are available from local businesses.

‍Senior’s Card
If you do not possess one already, you may also be eligible for a senior’s card which may entitle you to a range of benefits from both government and non-government service providers. Application forms are available from my office.

‍Concessions
‍I can also provide advice on concessions you may be eligible for including electricity, SA Water, cost of living, public transport, funerals, motor registration, companion card, low-cost glasses, heating and cooling and emergency services and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. People living in residential parks may also be eligible for cost-of-living concessions. ‍On Demand Bus Service
Gawler and surrounding districts are fortunate to have an “On Demand” bus service. For people who live more than 500 metres from the fixed route bus services, call Torrens Transit on 1300 022 942 at least one hour before your required trip to book a service. Metro Adult and concession fares apply and wheelchair access is available.

Gawler On-Demand Service operates at the following times:
Mon - Thu 6am - 7pm
Fri 6am - 10pm
Sat 9am - 10pm
Sun 9am - 3pm
