Local Gawler mechanical service and repairs business, Les Haldane Mechanical, celebrated the opening of their second workshop.
The Grand Opening at 3 Redbanks Road, Willaston was held on Saturday 27th August 2016.
Member for Light , Mr Tony Piccolo MP attended the successful launch of the new business premises to congratulate the team and express his pleasure at seeing a local family business growing and expanding in our local community.
Owners, Les and Sue Haldane, have been in business since 1999 and opened a workshop at 1/80 Adelaide Road, Gawler South, in 2011.
Mr Haldane said he was pleased to expand the business by opening a second workshop to meet the high demand on the Gawler South workshop. “The new workshop will service the Northern Gawler area, as well as the surrounding towns on the outskirts of Gawler and the Barossa Valley,” said Mr Haldane.
Les Haldane Mechanical is a member of the MTA (Motor Trade Association) and the IAME (Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers). Co-owner of the business, Mrs Sue Haldane said they have trained and competent staff at both locations who specialise in mechanical repairs including log book services, brakes, cooling systems, clutches, engine and cylinder head repairs to most makes and models of cars.
“We also provide fleet maintenance to corporate customers including on site forklift servicing and repairs,” said Mrs Haldane.
“We are pleased to be members of the Light community and to provide a service that helps the community to grow.”
Mr Piccolo said he was always pleased to see local family and small businesses thrive and expand.
“Expanding small businesses not only provide additional services to the community but also help to create new jobs,” said Mr Piccolo.
